Job Title Clinical Scientist Job Description Clinical Scientist Develops clinical roadmaps for specific application areas based on healthcare trends and market insights. Provides expert input to support product strategy, marketing decisions, and clinical policy development. Bridges market needs and internal teams by identifying unmet clinical demands and promoting best practices and success stories.   Your role:   • Participates in the development of comprehensive clinical roadmaps for specific application areas, leveraging in-depth knowledge of clinical trends, technical possibilities, market segmentation, and healthcare developments. • Participates in marketing and development strategy meetings, contributing expert insights on product policies and clinical trends to guide strategic decisions, working under limited supervision. • Facilitates the sharing of successful or innovative projects, transforming them into clinical and business proof points that demonstrate Philips' leadership in medical technology. • Communicate unmet clinical needs of the local market to internal teams, providing valuable insights to inform product development and marketing strategies. • Presents clinical research findings and innovative project outcomes during customer presentations, site visits, and marketing or academic events to support product validation and market adoption. • Evaluates emerging medical technologies and clinical applications, assessing their potential impact and viability to guide Philips' innovation pipeline. • Collaborates with R&D, marketing, sales, and service teams to integrate clinical research findings into product enhancements and strategic initiatives. • Monitors advancements in clinical science and healthcare trends, sharing insights with internal teams to inform strategic decisions and maintain Philips' competitive edge. • Consults on the design and execution of clinical trials, providing expert advice to ensure robust and reliable data collection that supports product development and regulatory compliance. • Establishes a global network of peer contacts within the scientific community, actively strengthening relationships to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing. • Stays updated on innovations in medical applications and technologies to support the development of clinical roadmaps and ensure Philips remains at the forefront of industry advancements. You're the right fit if: • Degree in Physics, Engineering or similir technical degree • Deep MR technical knowledge • Experience in research projects including MR technology • PhD in Physics, Engineering or similir technical degree • Clinical applications of MR technology • Programming capabilities in C, Python, ... • Technical Writing • Industrial Research • Technology Acumen • Data Analysis & Interpretation • Intellectual Property Assessment • Intellectual Property Generation & Protection • Continuous Improvement • Stakeholder Management • Quality Assurance (QA) • Business Acumen   How we work together   We believe that we are better together than apart. The base salary range for this position is € 53 625 - € 82 500 . Compensation within this range is determined based on objective criteria such as the required skills, your relevant experience, the level of responsibility associated with the position, as well as internal equity and local market conditions. This position is also eligible for variable compensation, with an annual component tied to KPIs and company performance. En tant qu’expert(e) scientifique, vous définissez les orientations cliniques stratégiques de votre domaine en vous appuyant sur les évolutions du secteur de la santé, les avancées technologiques et les attentes du marché. Vous apportez votre expertise pour guider les décisions en matière de développement produit, de stratégie marketing et d'innovation clinique. Véritable interface entre les besoins des professionnels de santé et les équipes internes, vous identifiez les défis cliniques émergents, valorisez les meilleures pratiques et transformez les succès du terrain en leviers de croissance et d'innovation pour l'entreprise. Missions :    • Participer à l’élaboration des roadmaps cliniques pour des domaines d’application spécifiques, en s’appuyant sur une connaissance approfondie des tendances cliniques, des possibilités technologiques, de la segmentation des marchés et des évolutions du secteur de la santé. • Contribuer aux réunions de stratégie marketing et de développement en apportant une expertise sur les orientations produits et les tendances cliniques afin d’éclairer les décisions stratégiques, avec un niveau d’autonomie élevé. • Favoriser le partage des projets innovants et des réussites, en les transformant en références cliniques et commerciales démontrant le leadership de Philips dans les technologies médicales. • Communiquer aux équipes internes les besoins cliniques non couverts du marché local afin d’orienter le développement des produits et les stratégies marketing. • Présenter les résultats de recherches cliniques et les conclusions de projets innovants lors de présentations clients, de visites de sites ainsi que d’événements marketing ou scientifiques, afin de soutenir la validation des solutions et leur adoption sur le marché. • Évaluer les nouvelles technologies médicales et leurs applications cliniques afin d’identifier leur potentiel et leur pertinence pour la stratégie d’innovation de Philips. • Collaborer avec les équipes R&D, marketing, ventes et services afin d’intégrer les résultats de recherche clinique dans l’amélioration des produits et les initiatives stratégiques. • Assurer une veille constante sur les avancées scientifiques et les tendances du secteur de la santé, et partager les informations pertinentes avec les équipes internes. • Conseiller sur la conception et la mise en œuvre d’études cliniques, en garantissant la robustesse et la fiabilité des données collectées pour soutenir le développement des produits et les exigences réglementaires. • Développer un réseau international de contacts au sein de la communauté scientifique et renforcer activement ces relations afin de favoriser la collaboration et le partage de connaissances. • Se tenir informé(e) des innovations dans les applications et technologies médicales afin de contribuer à l’évolution des roadmaps cliniques et de maintenir Philips à la pointe du secteur.
