AI Full Stack Engineer

AI Full Stack Engineer (€80K – €130K • Offers Equity) About the Role You will build and iterate on internal tools and products, integrating AI capabilities into our systems. The focus is on strong engineering with a clear AI angle: working across the stack, connecting to AI APIs, and collaborating with business stakeholders to improve their workflows. What You’ll Do • Develop and maintain full stack applications (front end, back end, databases) • Architect durable AI workflows that adapt as the LLM landscape evolves, not brittle prompt chains • Build and maintain back-end services in Node.js or Python • Integrate and orchestrate AI APIs into existing and new systems • Work across multiple systems and data sources, making sense of fragmented data • Collaborate with business teams (e.g. marketing, UA, operations) to: • Understand their work and tools • Identify where AI can improve their workflows • Translate needs into technical solutions and iterate on them Must-Haves • Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders • Experience building complex agentic systems • Experience integrating and working with AI APIs • Strong coding skills and solid engineering fundamentals • Full stack capabilities: front end, back end, databases • Good prompting skills and ability to use current AI tools effectively • Production experience with Node.js or Python • Curiosity, initiative, and strong learning mindset (especially around AI) Nice-to-Haves • Experience with TypeScript • Familiarity with agentic/system-thinking approaches for AI solutions • Experience partnering closely with marketing, UA, or other business/ops teams What We Value • Engineering-first mindset, with the ability to understand business context • Proactive approach: going to people, understanding their work, and suggesting improvements • Comfort with ambiguity and evolving requirements • Strong communication and collaboration across teams Why Almedia? • Own Our Growth: We offer all Berlin-based employees equity in Almedia to truly be a part of our success. • Scale With Almedia: Grow alongside a startup that has been profitable from day one. • Central Berlin Office: Work from a fully-stocked modern office built for collaboration, accessible from all around Berlin. • Other Benefits: Transport subsidy, breakfasts and lunches, language learning, Urban Sports Club, and more.
