We're looking for an Operations Manager with hands-on warehouse leadership experience — someone who has led large teams directly on the shop floor and wants to keep doing exactly that. This is not a role for project managers, consultants, or people looking to move from a strategic or office-based function into operations. We need someone who already knows what it means to run a shift, stand on the floor, and lead people in a live warehouse environment. This is the kind of role where you don't inherit years of legacy. You help build the setup, influence the standards, and leave a visible footprint from the start. WHAT YOU'LL DO As Operations Manager, you will lead a core shift on the shop floor, managing a team of Area Managers to drive high performance across safety, quality, and productivity. You will: - Own the shift: Be present and hands-on, driving shift-level operational performance, safety compliance, and labor management directly on the floor - Lead & develop: Coach, mentor and scale your team of Area Managers, ensuring optimal staffing, skills, and readiness - Work with cross-functional teams (Automation, OpEx, HR, IT, Transport) to solve live challenges and align resources - Monitor site KPIs, conduct root-cause analyses, and champion a continuous improvement culture — grounded in real shop floor observation - Support implementation of new processes, tools and automated systems across the fulfillment center - Drive standardisation, safety compliance and best-practice adoption in a new operational environment - Support operations during peak periods, weekends and holidays with hands-on problem-solving - Build an environment with stronger standards, better processes and an engaging, high-energy culture from Day 1 - Drive your shift to successful outcomes and help teams adopt new ways of working smoothly and consistently WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Direct, hands-on warehouse or logistics operations experience is essential — this role is for operators, not project managers or strategy professionals - 3+ years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations, with real time spent leading on the shop floor - Proven track record of directly managing large teams (50+ people) in fast-paced warehouse environments - A genuine willingness and desire to be present on the shop floor daily, not primarily in meetings or behind a desk - Strong analytical mindset, data-driven decision-making and problem-solving approach - Excellent communication, coordination and leadership skills - Proficiency in English, and conversational-level Czech Nice to have: - University degree or MBA in a related field - Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies - Experience with WMS tools and high-volume automated fulfillment operations WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU - Fair reward – You'll get an attractive fixed salary, with no bonus games or politics.
