Associate Director, People Leader for Filling Manufacturing Science & Transfers, Aseptic Manufacturing Lyngby, Denmark, Onsite   Your impact begins here You will lead a team of approximately 18 experienced professionals and senior specialists within Filling. Strong people leadership is a prerequisite for this role. Your main challenge is to set direction for the Filling area, help the team move from reactive support towards a more proactive role, and work across the organisation to anticipate future manufacturing needs. You will connect technical expertise, business priorities and stakeholder perspectives and turn them into clear direction for the team.   What you’ll bring You are already an experienced people leader. You know how to develop people, handle performance challenges, create accountability and lead experienced specialists with confidence. What will differentiate you in this role is your ability to lead a function, not only a team. You bring: • At least 5 years of relevant people leadership experience, ideally leading experienced professionals or specialists. • A proven track record of developing people and teams, including performance management and difficult conversations. • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate a complex organisation with competing priorities and perspectives. • The ability to set direction and translate strategic priorities into clear focus for a specialist team. • A structured and analytical approach to complex problems. • Relevant experience from pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related manufacturing environment. • Experience from Novo, or substantial experience working closely with Novo and navigating the organisation.  • A relevant academic background within natural science, engineering, pharmacy or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. • Professional proficiency in English.   Useful, but not essential: • Experience from aseptic manufacturing. • Knowledge of Filling or related pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. • Project leadership experience or experience driving complex cross-functional initiatives. Deep Filling expertise is not required. What matters is that you understand the manufacturing context, can engage credibly with senior specialists and can translate expertise into direction and action.   What you’ll do Your priority will be to strengthen how the Filling team works and how its expertise is used across Aseptic Manufacturing. You will: • Lead, coach and develop approximately 18 professionals and senior specialists. • Create clear expectations, priorities and accountability across the team. • Move the team towards a more proactive and forward-looking way of working. • Set direction for the Filling area together with relevant stakeholders. • Translate business priorities, manufacturing challenges and future needs into clear priorities for the team. • Strengthen collaboration across functions and sites and involve the right stakeholders at the right time. • Contribute to standards, frameworks and ways of working that support robust and scalable Filling processes.   What success looks like after 12 months Success means that the Filling team has moved from primarily reactive support to a more proactive and strategically positioned function. You have created clearer priorities, strengthened stakeholder collaboration and helped the team anticipate future manufacturing needs rather than only respond to them. The team continues to deliver strong technical support while having greater influence on priorities, standards and decisions across Aseptic Manufacturing.   Who you’ll work with You will join Manufacturing Science & Transfers, an area of approximately 130 colleagues responsible for manufacturing standards and subject matter expertise across Aseptic Manufacturing. You will lead the Filling team within the Process Competence Center, report to the Director and become part of the leadership team. Your closest partners will include manufacturing sites, process owners, technical specialists and colleagues across Aseptic Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and other relevant functions.   What you can expect here You will work with highly experienced specialists and senior stakeholders across our manufacturing network. The team is technically strong and already delivers important support. Your opportunity is to take it further by creating clearer direction, strengthening collaboration and helping the organisation use Filling expertise more proactively. You will have room to influence how the Filling area develops and how future manufacturing needs are translated into priorities and action.   Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 847,000.00 to 1,245,100.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge and relevant experience.
