Janthakun Tech (Norway) is the data controller for workcamino.com. We collect as little personal data as we can get away with, and we never sell it. Contact: support@workcamino.com.

What we collect

Account: your email address and authentication data, stored with Supabase on EU servers (Stockholm). Payments: handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details, only your subscription status (including free-trial status) and a Stripe customer reference. Preferences: your language choice (cookie), whether you want our weekly e-mail, and — if you set them — the kinds of work and countries you are interested in, stored on your profile and used only to pick which jobs we show you in the weekly e-mail. Saved jobs: the listings you choose to save, so you can find them again and be told if they close. E-mail: we send one welcome message when you create an account, a reminder before a free trial converts to a paid subscription, and a short weekly job update; every non-transactional message has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can switch the weekly update off on your account page at any time. Technical: standard server logs (IP, requests) kept briefly by our hosting provider Vercel for security and operations, plus anonymous, cookieless page-view statistics via Vercel Web Analytics (no cross-site tracking, no persistent identifiers). What we don't do

No advertising trackers, no selling or sharing of personal data for marketing, no profiling beyond the preferences you set yourself. Job ad text sent to our translation provider (Anthropic) contains the ad only — never your account data.

Personal data inside the job ads

Separately from your account, the job ads we republish sometimes name a person: a hiring manager or recruiter, occasionally with a work phone number or e-mail. That information was published by the employer on its own career page or through an official public job API, and we receive it as part of the ad. For it we are an independent data controller, and our basis is legitimate interest — making vacancies that are already public easier to find. We do not enrich it, combine it with anything else, or use it to contact anyone. When a listing is withdrawn at its source we stop showing it the same day. If you are named in an ad we display and want it corrected or removed, write to support@workcamino.com and we will act on it.

Why we process it

To provide the service you bought (contract), to keep the service secure (legitimate interest), to meet bookkeeping obligations for payments (legal obligation), and, only with your consent, to understand how the site is used (PostHog analytics).

Processors

Supabase (database and login, EU), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Zoho Mail (e-mail delivery, EU datacenter), Anthropic (translation of ad text), PostHog (product analytics, EU, only with consent). Each processes data under their own data processing agreements.

Retention

Your account data is kept while your account exists. Email support@workcamino.com to delete your account; payment records are retained as required by bookkeeping law.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to processing. Write to support@workcamino.com and we will respond within a month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority (in Norway: Datatilsynet).
